The Hospice and Palliative Nurses Foundation initiated the “Every Member Campaign” on the occasion of the 20th Anniversary of the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association.
HPNF asks every member from the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association across the country for 100 percent participation in this annual appeal through a direct mailing in the spring. Members are encouraged to donate a very small fraction of their assets in order to make a very large number of gifts to the Annual Fund.
The tradition began as a way to honor the 20th Anniversary milestone with the matching request that every member donate $20. Nurse members have eagerly given back to the cause they so wholeheartedly support with their life work. Each year has seen a rise in member participation and a rise in the donor gift amounts. The Every Member Campaign is a culmination of support by hospice and palliative nurses – those who give with their hearts, hands and minds and also from their paychecks.
HPNA members may donate by mail, by telephone or online (with the Annual Member Appeal dropdown box) anytime during the calendar year. The Every Member Campaign is a special subset of the Annual Fund designed for member participation.
