The Conference Scholarship Program was established by HPNF in 2008 to provide financial assistance for nurses attending HPNA-sponsored conferences (such as the Clinical Practice Forum and the AAHPM/HPNA Annual Assembly).  These scholarships support nurses who wish to augment their professional development and leadership skills in hospice and palliative care. 

Scholarships are awarded to HPNA members to provide reimbursement of the early registration fee.  Winners will be selected from applicant pool by the volunteer Scholarship Review Committee.

To Qualify, Applicant must be:

• Current member of HPNA
• Involved in hospice and palliative nursing
• Registered to attend the Conference for which they are seeking scholarship

And completed application must be received by deadline

Deadlines for applications

December 1   for conferences occurring January – June

June 1           for conferences occurring July – December

1.        Application Form

2.        Resume (two pages or less)

June 1 and December 1 received by deadlines are strictly observed
