The ultimate objective of the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Foundation is to help members and friends of the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association help others. One way this is possible is through charitable giving vehicles and development programs. We encourage individual consideration to the giving of time, talent and treasure to strengthen the mission of the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Foundation to provide awards, scholarships, and grants for education and research to members of HPNF. The office staff members are trained to facilitate deferred giving by interested donors through the use of bequests, charitable gift annuities and trusts, insurance and other planned giving vehicles.
Members and many others across the United States consider the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Foundation an important vehicle to assist with gift planning, endowment management, charitable support, or education in planned giving. Gifts to the Foundation not only further the work of the HPNF, but also may provide the donor with several benefits -- perpetuity, public accountability, tax advantages, memorial opportunities and professional management. The Foundation strives to connect people with an interest in helping to the needs that exist.
